More than 235,000 people in Canada experience homelessness in any given year, and 25,000 to 35,000 people may be experiencing homelessness on any given night. (Statistic Canada, 2011)
In Lieu Of a birthday present, ask your friends and family to donate to the In Lieu Of initiative. The ACPI challenges you to participate in In Lieu of 2024 and help us assemble 50 Bundles of Warmth that contain a blanket, socks, underwear, feminine hygiene products, personal hygiene products, and a flashlight. The collected donations will be distributed to a community organization that provides services and resources to the homeless community and marginalized groups during the month of February, 2024.
